is the sum of all the values in a range divided by the number of values.

Add up all the values in a range and divide by the number of values.

For data-set (1,2,3,2,4,2,1) The mean is 15/7 = 2.5

The number that is repeated the most in a range of values is the mode.

For data-set (1,2,3,2,4,2,1) The mode is "2"
